Té House of Tea was founded by partners Connie Lacobie and Alyson Bell.

• Connie Lacobie, a native of Hong Kong, brings her culture's long history with tea to the United States. Living here for 20+ years, Connie enjoys Houston's multi-cultural environment and is excited about broadening our horizons with quality teas and tea culture and rituals.
• Alyson Bell, a native of Ireland, the world's biggest tea drinkers, is an expert in the food service industry, and of course enjoys a good mug of hot tea any time of day.

Our Environmental Mission:

In keeping with our commitment to Fair Trade and charitable organizations, Te House of Tea aims to reduce wasteful consumption within our community. We do our part by recycling plastic and paper packaging; composting tea leaves and appropriate food products; and creating set menus and daily specials which maximize ingredients used. These measures greatly minimize material waste, while maintaining strict health codes and providing you with fresh, delicious, and environmentally conscious treats. We hope you appreciate and choose to support our efforts. Together we can foster conservative attitudes and reach the Teahouse’s specific goals, such as ending the day with only one bag of trash. For instance, please let us know if you do not want a side salad with your meal so that the vegetables do not go to waste...
