We are interested in performances that fit our relaxing tea house ambience, such as jazz or folk music.

- Gawad Kalinga, a Filipino non-profit organization that seeks to help and empower those impoverished brothers and sisters of ours in the rural areas of the Philippines by providing, shelter and relief programs as well as agricultural and humanitarian efforts in order to speed up the rebuilding of the nation. more info on www.gawadkalinga.org As for the bands, Hidden Paraiso with their guest musician, Mario Mcintee, in our ranks this time. He is a professional djembe player from north africa. He is one of the best in Houston and has co-founded an African Dance Arts school called Wonlande with his master and teacher Mohammad Diaby. Our sound is more like ethno-pop-rock. The other band is called Kayumanggi, a Filipino Ethno pop band with members from all across Texas. - Again, Te is very glad to have Anjali and PK again on this coming Saturday, October 14 at 8:30p.m. Anjali is a Singer/Songwriter with her roots in Brazilian music and West Coast Jazz. P.K. McCary's gift of storytelling has made her a request of many. Both women will stir your emotions and deepen your understanding of peace, hope and joy.
