Té Style Guide
This documents color, layout and other style guidelines for Té's website and marketing collatoral materials
Principles
Clean and simple are the order of the day. Our materials try to create an image of peace and zen. Design elements should be minimalist, verbiage short and sweet.
Color
Three colors dominate our color palette:
- Té Green (specifically, rgb(127,142,47), which is very close to Pantone 7495C) is our main color. To be used for major headers, backgrounds, and all text on a white background;
- Té Orange (rgb(184,130,40), close to Pantone 117U) is for accents and borders;
- Té Red (rgb(156,47,42), close to Pantone 1807C) is for highlights, accents, and header text (sparingly)
Font
The standard font for all collatoral material and signs is Skia.
The Logo
The "House in the Moon" symbol can be used alone or in combination with the word "Té". The standard version of the logo can be found at logo.jpg, and the version to use on white backgrounds is logoonwhite.jpg
Layout
We haven't become very stringent on layout yet, so creativity is still in order. The logo looks good when placed to the left or on bottom. Business cards are vertical, with the logo on the bottom, and signage will put the logo on the left, within a large Té Green vertical bar. The vertical orientation is preferred as our "theme" for layout.
