Hello friends,

We write you with the wish that everyone is safe and sound.  We appreciate all the emails we've received, sharing your concerns about our shop and asking when we'll be open.  If you've driven by, you already know that our awning was ripped down during Hurricane Ike (photo here).  Other than that, our store suffered no damage - except that we have no power!

There's a downed power line next door that is preventing us receiving electricity.  We'll let everyone know when power is restored and we're back up in business.  In the meantime, stay tuned to our website for event updates, or, if you happen to use Twitter, follow us at www.twitter.com/tehouseoftea for micro-updates.
